The Nashville Nightmare did just enough to secure a victory over the Central Valley Turkey Vultures, 7-6, at The Euclyptus Nest. Nobody did more than pitcher Neil Corbin. With the win, Nashville raised its record to 19-18.

Nashville needed the clutch hitting of Takamori Okimasa to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Nightmare on top, 7-6. For the game, Okimasa had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Okimasa.
