The Wildwood Fishers had to overcome a fine performance from Reykjavik pitcher Ken Finch to grab a 3-2 win at Flaming Ashes Ballpark. Finch allowed 1 run over 9 innings. Wildwood reliever José Morales picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Brett Fitzgerald shouldered the loss. Robert Saunders was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

António Bolton, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Bolton contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put Wildwood up, 2-1.

"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Arthur Ecklund.
