Gunn Now 5-1 After Subduing Red Birds

The Ypsi Yard Cats went home winners at Griffith's Park, thanks in large part to starter Mark Gunn. Gunn stifled the Columbus Red Birds, enabling Ypsi to grab the 5-0 win. The Yard Cats raised their record to 20-10.
Gunn was in the zone all game. He frustrated Columbus hitters while giving the Yard Cats 8.1 innings of quality work. Gunn threw 94 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 4 punchouts.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Gunn said.
