Ypsi Yard Cats starter Horace Bush turned in a top-notch performance against the Letterkenny Shamrocks at The Squid's Beak. The result was a win for the Yard Cats, 5-2. The win puts Ypsi at 17-9.

The Yard Cats got a big at-bat from right fielder Alfonso Alemán. For the game, Alemán went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Ypsi a 3-1 lead.

"Horace is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Ypsi manager Patrick Holt.
