González Slugs Red Birds to 10-7 Win
A 5-RBI performance from left fielder Lorenzo González led the Columbus Red Birds to a win over the Indianapolis Indians, 10-7. Indianapolis falls to 12-14.

With Columbus leading 3-2 in the top of the fourth, González hit a slider from Ryan Durango for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Red Birds ahead, 6-2.

In postgame comments to the Columbus Citizen, González said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
