Stalkers Rally For 4-2 Win
|
Iowa City Stalkers starter Fu-Kang Ow pitched his team past the Central Valley Turkey Vultures, 4-2. Ow, now 4-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 11, walking 5, and allowing 2 runs. The Turkey Vultures fall to 10-16 and continue their lackluster start in 2052.
Iowa City needed the clutch hitting of Iolana Amoka to notch the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Stalkers on top, 4-2. For the game, Amoka had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
