Yard Cats Roll to 8-2 Win Over House of Brews
The Ypsi Yard Cats topped the Newcastle House of Brews by a score of 8-2. Leading the way was catcher Zakaria Olopoto. Olopoto went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Yard Cats. Mark Gunn, the winner, improved to 4-1. He held Newcastle to 2 runs on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Iván Sandoval closed the door for Ypsi, picking up his 1st save of the year.
