Indians Need Extra Innings to Top Heisenbergs, 4-3
|
The Indianapolis Indians topped the Duke City Heisenbergs, 4-3, in To The Wall Baseball action at James R. Fouts Memorial Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Indianapolis pitcher and New York, native Randall Evans. The loss makes the Heisenbergs 8-17.
Evans, a native of New York, was dealing all game. He kept Duke City hitters off-balance, while giving the Indians 8 quality innings. Evans threw 126 pitches, allowing 6 hits and striking out 15.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Evans.
