Motown starter Michael Booth pitched well against the Central Valley Turkey Vultures at The Euclyptus Nest. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Booth picked up the win for Motown, going 7 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Motown, now 18-7, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Motown used the timely hitting of Luis González to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hitmakers on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
