Shamrocks Earn 2-1 Win Versus Indians
The Shamrocks faced a stiff challenge from Indianapolis pitcher José Vélez, but persevered to claim a win at Thunder Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Vélez went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Keith Martin got the win, improving to 3-1. He worked 8 innings, giving up 1 run on 10 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Driscoll Peaty earned the save for Letterkenny, his 7th.

Letterkenny used a timely hit from José Ocampo to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Shamrocks ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it made an impact.
