Guevara Now 1-0 After Subduing Renegades
|
The Indianapolis Indians got a strong performance from pitcher Bartolo Guevara, who stymied the Texas offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Thunder Stadium. Yosai Kato recorded the save, his 3rd. Texas falls to 8-9.
Guevara allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings for the Indians. He walked 2 and struck out 5.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Guevara said.
