The Diablo Canyon Tritium and Ypsi Yard Cats were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Getting offensive support from Judy Johnson, the Ypsi Yard Cats topped the Diablo Canyon Tritium, 9-3. Johnson was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 for the Yard Cats. Getting the save was António Hernández, his 2nd.

Lorenzo Hernández, the 27-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Hernández contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Ypsi up, 4-1.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Ypsi skipper Patrick Holt.

The loss has the Tritium at 5-11.
