Great Black Swamp left fielder Steve Hunt helped his team beat the Columbus Red Birds, 6-1. Hunt, who finished 4th in the TTWB in triples with 11 in 2045, went 3 for 5 for the Mud Hens. Jason Rame was the winner. Over 8 innings, he allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. The Mud Hens are off to a nightmare start as they look to defend their championship, notching only their 5th win in 14 games.

Great Black Swamp took a 6-1 lead on Hunt's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Pedro Hernández in the top of the sixth, propelled Great Black Swamp to the win.
