Drifters Take Down Boomsticks, 7-6
The Dam Site Drifters weathered an outstanding game by Asheville second baseman Jeff Lawler to topple the Boomsticks, 7-6. Lawler went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Boomsticks drop to 3-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2052 season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Dam Site pinch hitter Yin-xiang Shu, facing Salvador Burgos, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Drifters the 7-6 win.

"This place was electric at the end," Shu said.
