Yard Cats Fall Short, 5-4, at Great Black Swamp
The Great Black Swamp Mud Hens did just enough to sneak past the Ypsi Yard Cats, 5-4, at The Nest. Great Black Swamp center fielder Curt Hubbard, in particular, had a standout performance. Sean Barrett was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. The loss has the Yard Cats at 6-4.

Hubbard contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Great Black Swamp get the win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Great Black Swamp manager Casimir Koralewski.
