Rokamura Stars for Downs in 10-5 Win

The Phoenix Downs defeated the Great Black Swamp Mud Hens, 10-5, at The Nest today. Leading the charge for Phoenix was catcher Antoine Rokamura. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Adelkria Mull, the winning pitcher, is now 1-1. He went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits, while fanning 7 and walking 2. Jesús Mena was credited with the save for Phoenix, his 1st of the season.
Mike Little, who finished 2nd in the TTWB in triples with 14 last year, aided the Phoenix cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the second. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Rokamura told the Phoenix Observer.
The victory makes Phoenix 5-4.
