Fraven Hits 2 home runs in Turkey Vultures Win
Todd Fraven was a major factor in the 10-6 Central Valley win over Ypsi. The Turkey Vultures right fielder went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Sergio Taváres got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 6. The win gives Central Valley a record of 3-3.

Central Valley used the bat of Adam Monte to get the win. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Turkey Vultures ahead, 5-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Central Valley manager Tony Meyer.
