July's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Pedane Thursday, August 1st , 2052 Luigi Pedane of Victoria had an award-winning July as he took home the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Pedane's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in July except for Luigi." Pedane was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 5-0 record in 5 starts. He struck out 59 batters in 41 innings and kept opponents to a .208 batting average. This season Pedane has compiled a 12-4 record with a 3.02 ERA in 16 starts. |
