Wilcox Selected SL2 Player of the Week Monday, June 24th , 2052 21-year-old Colm Wilcox made a few Moosejaw headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Sub League 2 officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .545 average. Wilcox collected 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Wilcox is currently batting .397 with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
