Watson Slams 6 Hits for Beneke Saturday, June 1st , 2052 No matter what the Kupo City Moogles threw at him today, Luke Watson hit it. He easily handled Moogles pitching, going 6 for 6 and helping the Fabricators to a 19-4 triumph at Mystics Ballpark. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Watson's quip, Moogles skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Luke Watson singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Watson is hitting .362 this year with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 17 hits in 47 at-bats, 5 walks and a .415 on-base percentage. Watson has played in 15 games.
