2052 TRL Outstanding Pitcher Award Chosen Saturday, September 21st , 2052 The hottest hurler in the Theodore Roosevelt League this season was Luis Velázquez of the North Muskegon Trout. He caught the attention of everybody in the league on his way to winning the 2052 TRL Outstanding Pitcher Award. Velázquez starred with an impressive 7-0 record in 9 starts. The Trout ace gave up 53 base hits and struck out 101 in 79.2 innings with a 1.36 ERA. He received 22 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jason Vaughn of the Fort Industry '94s finished second in voting, while Leonardo Cervantes of the Hamlinburg Barons finished third.
