Round 2 Sweep to Salamancas Sunday, September 8th , 2052 The Mexican Cartel Salamancas ignited a huge celebration as they beat the North Muskegon Trout 7-2 to win the Round 2. Mexican Cartel won the series 4-0, capturing the title for the 5th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Mexican Cartel manager . "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 44-30 and claimed first place in the Ulysses S. Grant League Florida Division. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and right fielder António Morris said the Salamancas have "great fans and they deserve this."
