North Muskegon Moves on to Round 2 Sunday, September 1st , 2052 Jon Palmer has led his North Muskegon Trout to a Round 1 victory. North Muskegon's third baseman was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 3-1 and eliminating the Fort Industry '94s. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the Round 2 with a 5-4 triumph at Danville Grounds in the deciding game. Palmer was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .500 average, as well as 2 home runs and 3 RBI. The North Muskegon Trout don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Mexican Cartel Salamancas - Michigan Belly Itchers series. Mexican Cartel leads the series 2 games to 1.
