Howard Takes Home TRL Top Batter Award Sunday, September 1st , 2052 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 22 Willie Howard has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young North Muskegon Trout star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Theodore Roosevelt League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .397 average with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. Thus far this season Howard has hit .299 with 1 home run, 21 RBIs and scored 33 times. |
