Powell Snares UGL Top Batter Award in July Thursday, August 1st , 2052 Even though he is a newcomer to TTWB Rookie League, Tommy Powell put up some good numbers in July and earned the UGL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Mexican Cartel's offensive leaders with a .327 average in 26 games. He also racked up 4 home runs, 25 RBIs, and 13 runs scored. So far this season Powell is batting .297 with 4 home runs, 38 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 202 at-bats, 23 walks and a .385 OBP. Powell has played in 51 games. |
