Owens Twirls 7-0 Shutout for Surprise Wednesday, July 24th , 2052 Dean Owens blitzed the Manistee Trees at Chula Vista Grounds today, pitching the Portsmouth Surprise to victory, 7-0. Owens needed 9 innings to shut out the Trees, striking out 12. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said Portsmouth manager .
