6-for-6 Day for Martínez Wednesday, June 19th , 2052 Allendale shortstop Álex Martínez had a day to remember today, 6-for-6 against the Eastern Nationals at Norfolk Fields as the Animals picked up a 10-0 victory. "He was patient up there today," Allendale skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Martínez has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Álex Martínez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
