Setback for Beach Whales and Donnie Ross
Tuesday, November 5th , 2052
All is not well with Donnie Ross in his recovery from a strained oblique.
The 25-year-old Beach Whales shortstop has already reached some significant steps in his rehabilitation, but his manager said that the team will continue to be cautious with Ross and take his progression one day at a time, especially after the setback yesterday.
"Yesterday he was feeling good but he didn't do a lot on the field," he said. "Today he was supposed to be on the field doing light stuff and then gradually start working right back up. I think he overdid it."
A post-workout examination revealed that Ross had re-injured himself and would now miss at least 4 days because of it.
In his all-time stats Ross is hitting .240 with 140 hits, 6 home runs, 53 runs scored and 58 RBIs.
