Best JAL Hurler Chosen for 2052 Wednesday, September 25th , 2052
It was a glorious year for Ánibal Chávez of the Toledo Bullfrogs.
He finished the season with 10 victories and only 5 losses, with an impressive 2.55 ERA. The talented Bullfrogs pitcher started 25 games and struck out 129 batters in 148 innings and won the John Adams League Outstanding Pitcher Award.
"It means a lot," Chávez said. "I hadn't really had a chance to sit down and think about it yet. It feels good right now. I can't really put it into words, but I'm sure later on tonight when I have a chance to sit down with my family and think about it, I'll have some words for it. But right now, I'm just happy that it happened this year."
