Monday, September 23rd , 2052
The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the Thomas Jefferson League reliever who put forward the strongest season.
This season, that player was Artie Flores of the Nibelheim Nosferatu, who was above all his peers in 2052.
"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."
On the season, Flores pitched 65.2 innings, with 90 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.64. He also had 41 saves in 53 relief appearances.
He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Juan Espinosa of the Fresno Buzzards finished second in voting, while Javier Ramírez of the Omaha Cinnabons finished third.
