Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Mays
Monday, September 23rd , 2052
John Mays was a calming influence out of the Toledo Bullfrogs bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 23-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the John Adams League Reliever of the Year Award for 2052.

The Sanger, California native won the award with 34 saves in 57 relief appearances, 86 strikeouts in 72.2 innings and a record of 6-6 to go with his 2.11 ERA.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Kyle McIntyre of the Delmarva Demons finished second in voting, while Lorenzo Flores of the Delmarva Demons finished third.
