Buzzards Advance to Round 2 Tuesday, September 3rd , 2052 The fans in Fresno are celebrating the Buzzards victory over the Nibelheim Nosferatu in the Round 1. They defeated the Nibelheim Nosferatu 8-2 in the finale played at Nibelheim Ballpark to capture the series 3-1. Ron O'Molony was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Buzzards first baseman batted .214, drove in 3 runs and scored 4 runs in the series. "The Nosferatu are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," O'Molony said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Fresno Buzzards will play against the Delmarva Demons in the next round. Delmarva won their series against the Fremont Farmers 3 games to 1.
