Hermosa's Gutiérrez Top JAL Batter in August Sunday, September 1st , 2052 At only 22 years of age, Tony Gutiérrez could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Hermosa Beach Whales, as August was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the John Adams League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .322 with 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season Gutiérrez has hit at a .258 clip with 57 RBIs, 23 home runs and 68 runs scored. |
