No Late-Season Magic Coming: Hermosa Out of Playoffs Monday, August 26th , 2052 The Hermosa Beach Whales have missed out on securing a berth in the TTWB Triple A playoffs. It's a "tough way to close out the season," according to first baseman Tony Gutiérrez. Hermosa last appeared in the postseason in 2035. This is their 17th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 37 times in their 41 - year history. |
