Rodríguez Tosses 2-0 Shutout Thursday, August 1st , 2052 The Caprica Buccaneers did little to support starter Manny Rodríguez against the Portland Penguins, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Penguins, striking out 6 and surrendering 3 hits. The performance from Rodríguez allowed Caprica to escape with the 2-0 win despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said 'Manny, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Rodríguez told BNN reporters following the win.
