Cyclones Buried - Out of Playoffs Sunday, July 21st , 2052 Did anyone think the I-35 Cyclones had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. I-35 last appeared in the postseason in 2047. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 30 times in their 43 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cyclones have only made the playoffs once. I-35 last won the Round 2 in 2011. |
