Rose Crushes 3 Homers Against Charleston Monday, July 15th , 2052 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Doug Rose did today at Rock Ballpark, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 11-2. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Rose said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Surprise Surprise second baseman blistered the Charleston Shrimp N Grits for 3 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Charleston manager said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Doug Rose hit a two-run home run off Wiley Berry in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Wiley Berry in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Edwin Davis in the 6th and struck out in the 7th.
