Shrimp N Grits Get One to Win
|
23-year-old Charleston Shrimp N Grits pitcher Mario Baca had a strong outing against the Zanarkand Abes at Ballpark of Jennings today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 5 in the 1-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 3 hits.
"Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
This year Baca has worked 45.1 innings with 36 strikeouts en route to a 3-1 record and a 3.57 ERA.
