Delmarva Takes Round 1
|
The Delmarva Demons are off to the Round 2.
By a final score of 4-2 at Exiles Ballpark, Delmarva ended the Round 1 and knocked out the Fremont Farmers by a series score of 3-1.
"Two great teams, only one can go on and we're happy that's us," said Fred Evans, who was named series MVP. "There's no easy games, no easy series in the TTWB Triple A playoffs."
For the series, Evans hit .562 with a .562 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 1 runs.
The Delmarva Demons don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Nibelheim Nosferatu - Fresno Buzzards series. Fresno leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
