Arnold Smith kept the Gramercy Riffs hitters from doing any damage at Watchdogs Ballpark today.

Gramercy could only muster 7 hits and take 1 walk against the right-handed Smith, who controlled them throughout the game as Hermosa took the contest, 2-0. Smith added 10 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Smith told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
