Posey, Patriots Too Much for Shinra
The Midgar Shinra and Western Patriots were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

A 6-RBI performance from the 20-year old catcher Buster Posey helped the Western Patriots beat the Midgar Shinra, 7-0. Frank Viola earned the win to go to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits, with 4 walks and 11 strikeouts in 8 innings of work.

Posey had a key at-bat for Western early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Western an early 3-0 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Posey said.

The win gives the Patriots a record of 16-39.
