Suzuki Superb Against Gramercy
|
Delmarva pitcher Daisuke Suzuki put on a show today and walked away with a 4-0 shutout victory over the Gramercy Riffs, throttling them on 3 hits. He cruised through the Riffs lineup, fanning 9 and walking 3 in a strong outing.
"He was very efficient and he hit his spots," Demons manager said after the game. "He stayed down in the zone and stayed away from the middle of the plate."
For the year Suzuki has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has also notched 59 strikeouts and 22 walks in 63.2 innings while registering a 3.82 ERA and a 6-1 won-lost record.
